Low Carb Foods

The following is a list of some of the foods I eat while low carbing it:
  • Salad: lettuce, spinach, cheese, bell peppers (red, orange, yellow), eggs, and dressing. If not eating with a meat (fish, chicken etc) I will add a can, or 1/2 can of tuna or salmon. I add a little water so that I can use less dressing and I use only a small amount of mozzarella cheese.
  • Chicken
  • Fish 
  • Pork chops (cooked on the grill) or Pork tenderloin (cooked on rotisserie) 
  • Atkins peanut butter bars
  • Atkins type low carb shakes (I don't like Atkins shakes!)
  • Hard boiled eggs
  • Cheese (slices off of a bar)
  • Celery
  • Canned Spinach with red wine vinegar on it
  • Turkey hot dogs, sometimes with cheese filling
  • Turkey sausage patties - Don't buy pork, they are greasy & have too many calories! 
  • Chicken Sausage dogs (from Sam's in several flavors)
  • SPAM... Yes, Spam! (sliced with cheese slice on top)
  • Beef jerky
  • Double cheeseburgers, plain and no bun from Burger King

I'll add to the list as I think of things.

I don't like to "cook" so everything I will eat is going to be nuked and ready in just a few minutes.


Drink:
I drink lemon flavor Crystal Light. I *LOVE* this stuff! If at a restaurant, I order a water with 3 lemons. I squeeze the lemons into the water and add one sweet & low, give it a stir, and I have the perfect drink. Plus its free!
